Introduction to grain slag
Grain slag is the product discharged from the blast furnace after melting the non-ferrous components in iron ore, coke and ash in injected coal when smelting pig iron in iron and steel enterprises. It is mostly crystalline block, honeycomb or rod. It is mainly fine-grained with vitreous body, which is light yellow (a small amount of dark green crystals), glass luster or silk luster. Mohs hardness is 1 ~ 2, (natural accumulation) specific gravity is 0.8 ~ 1.3t/m3. There are mainly two ways: slag pool water quenching and furnace front water quenching. It has potential hydraulic cementitious properties. Under the action of cement clinker, lime, gypsum and other activators, it can show the hard cementitious performance of water. Therefore, it is a high-quality cement raw material.
Application of grain slag
1. Application of grain slag in cement industry:

2. Application of grain slag in commercial concrete:
As a mineral admixture of concrete, grain slag powder can replace cement in the same amount. It is directly added to commercial concrete. According to the difference of activity and specific surface area, the performance of concrete mixed with grain slag micro powder in a certain proportion is obviously improved. Grain slag powder is especially suitable for special projects such as high-rise buildings, dams, airports, underwater and underground buildings.

Analysis on grinding mill models
Vertical roller mill:
Large scale equipment and high output can meet large-scale production. This slag powder mill has high stability. Disadvantages: high equipment investment cost.
Stage I: Crushing of raw materials
The large grain slag material is crushed by the crusher to the feed fineness (15mm-50mm) that can enter the grinding mill.
Stage II: Grinding
The crushed grain slag small materials are sent to the storage hopper by the elevator, and then sent to the grinding chamber of the mill evenly and quantitatively by the feeder for grinding.
Stage III: Classifying
The milled materials are graded by the grading system, and the unqualified powder is graded by the classifier and returned to the main machine for re grinding.
Stage V: Collection of finished products
The powder conforming to the fineness flows through the pipeline with the gas and enters the dust collector for separation and collection. The collected finished powder is sent to the finished product silo by the conveying device through the discharge port, and then packaged by the powder tanker or automatic packer.
