1. High grinding efficiency

Vertical mill uses the material bed grinding principle to grind the materials which requires less energy consumption. The power consumption of the grinding system is 30% lower than that of the ball milling system, and as the moisture of the raw material increases, the power saves more.

2. Higher drying capacity

Vertical mill machine uses pneumatic delivery method, when the raw materials have higher moisture (such as coal, slag, etc.), the inlet air temperature can be controlled to make the product reach the required moisture.

3. Simple process flow

vertical mill has separator, and the hot flue gas is used to transport the material. It does not require classifier or hoist. The dust-containing gas from the mill can directly enter the bag powder collector to collect the product. Simple process is beneficial to reduce the failure rate, increase the operation rate. Compact layout requires 70% construction area than that of the ball mill system.

4. Large feeding particle size

For vertical mill, the feeding particle size can reach about 5% (40-100mm) of the diameter of the mill roll, so the vertical mill system can save the secondary crushing.

5. Products have high degree of homogenization

The qualified products in the vertical mill can be separated in time, avoiding over-grinding, and the product size is even; while the products are easy to be crushed in the ball mill due to its working method. In addition, the vertical grinding system can adjust the product fineness in time and conveniently by adjusting the separator speed, wind speed and grinding roller pressure.

6. Low noise and minimum dust

The grinding roller and the grinding disc are not in direct contact in vertical mill, and the noise is about 20-25 decibels lower than that of the ball mill. In addition, vertical mill adopts an integral seal, the system is operated under negative pressure to reduce dust and noise.
